Hi, I’m Nita and I love sharing yoga with everyone. Finding my true passion has been a journey. It didn’t come to me in an epiphany. I have a deep passion for living and sharing a healthy lifestyle with friends and family. This includes fitness and nutrition which have both been part of my journey for many years, taking root when I became a mother over a decade ago.
When I started practicing yoga a few years ago, it was more about increasing flexibility or reducing stress. As time went by, something shifted. The more classes I took, the more grounded I felt and my mind that is normally racing in multiple directions was suddenly at peace. At its core, Yoga is a powerful tool that has a way of connecting mind, body and spirit and linking breath to movement. It provides an indescribable mindful and physical detox that is both contagious and addictive. Yoga has changed me, the type of person I want to be and the kind of life I want to live. I dove into teacher training in March 2018 and it was one of my life's most extraordinary experiences. I recently completed my Kids yoga training with Kidding Around Yoga this summer and I'm so excited to teach mindfulness, yoga and breath work to tiny yogis.
My current focus is teaching Moms and their kiddos in both a socially distanced environment in person and virtually. If you would like me to come to your neighborhood or if you are interested in kids yoga classes, birthday parties or mommy and me classes, I'm your girl!
